Dr. Barto Saayman
Dr. Barto Saayman grew up in the Riebeeck Valley and qualified as a medical doctor at
Stellenbosch University. After gaining experience in South Africa and the UK, he developed a strong background in emergency medicine before settling in Bredasdorp in 2007.
Today, as a GP at Heuningberg Medical, he provides comprehensive care ranging from family medicine and chronic disease management to minor surgical procedures. He has a special interest in pediatrics, skin conditions, allergies, mental health, and preventative care such as cancer screening.
Dr. Barto also offers aesthetic medicine — including Botox, fillers, skin treatments, and spider vein therapy — always with the philosophy of achieving natural, subtle results.
With nearly two decades of service in the Overberg, Dr. Barto is known for his approachable style, high clinical standards, and dedication to the community he calls home.
